 Many businesses are collecting data every day:

~ Sales data Marketing data

 But collecting data and using data are two different things. 

 Think about it this way: Having data without analysis is like owning a library and never opening a book. The value isn't in the collection.

 I've worked with data in laboratories, marketing, sales, and healthcare, and one thing remains true across every industry:

Tableau only became mainstream around 2010. The job title "data analyst" as we know it today barely existed before 2008. Python for data science became accessible to non-developers around 2015 with Pandas and Jupyter.   The entire modern data stack is 10–15 years old.   Nobody has been doing this for 30 years. There are no "old-timers" who got their head start in the 1990s. The field is new. The tools are new. The roles are still being defined.   This means two things:   1.
